To find your correct postal code, go to www.eniro.se and write in your adress.
Make sure you don’t forget to write your appartment number if that is on you mailbox/door – it makes it much easier for the postman!

Is there other thing I need to do for getting the student ID card, except for setting my address on KTH’s my pages? Foe example, do I need to pay the student union fee?

To get your student ID card (Mecenat-kortet) you will only need to have the correct address (as above). However, if you live in an SSSB-house you’ll have to pay the membership fee for the student union since that’s needed when you rent from SSSB.
Anyway – as soon as KTH have sent your (correct) adress to Mecenat, you’ll get a card home to you. If you pay the student union fee you’ll get the student union version of the card with some extra discounts, and the possibility to live in SSSB.

Do exchange students have to pay that fee too?
You only have to pay if you live in SSSB – otherwise it’s not mandatory. We hope to convince you that the discounts from us are good anyway (free tentapubs etc).

Har loggat on på http://www.mercenat.se men det ser inte ut som adressen som visas på sidan stämmer med min nuvarade address. Har kollat med KTH mailing adress / inställningar och det var rätt och uppdaterats. Lite orolig att kortet inte kommer till rätt address.

i have updated my address on my pages. but i think its late and the card has been sent to my old address. how can i request for the new card on my new address.
Hello a friend of mine who had to leave Sweden early asked me to pay his THS card for him. I payed but now he needs an invoice to sign a contract with sssb and I didn’t keep the receipt of payment. Who can he talk to in order to get an invoice from THS saying that his fee is payed.

That would be the student union office, KårX, but sadly, they’ve closed for the holidays. He should be registered in SSSB’s database, however; I don’t know exactly how they handle these matters, but it strikes me as though this should be verification enough.

As Felix said, the office is closed for the holidays, but your friend /should/ be synched across the databases. If there’s a problem, please mail me at ordf@ths.kth.se and I’ll take a look at it when I get back to the office next week.

I have filled the address info in KTH website. I am an exchange student and I would like to get all the discounts. As I read, I dont need to pay, but what else should I do to request my student card?

I have paid the fee 3 weeks ago, but I haven’t received my card yet. I have the correct address in ”My pages”. I also have an account in SSSB and it says that my current card(I am a second year student) will expire in 2 weeks. It is said on SSSB website that they check the THS membership status every day.
Who should I contact with to know why my THS membership is not extended and why I didn’t receive a card?
